With the booming of the automobile industry, there are more and more core counters in five-axis CNC machining centers. However, in the temporary market, there are few true five-axis (with RTCP function) machine tools, and many false five-axis (only dry indexing function) machine tools.
What is called the true five-axis and what is called the false five-axis, and what is the difference between it and the three-axis?
The true five-axis has the RTCP function. Automatic conversion can be performed according to the sway length of the spindle and the lag coordinates of the turntable. When programming, only the coordinates of the workpiece need to be considered, and there is no need to consider the length of the spindle and the position of the rotating table. Whether it is a true five-axis, or not, see whether the five-axis can be linked, and the fake five-axis can also be linked with five-axis. If the spindle has the RTCP true five-axis algorithm. It is dry indexing processing. The true five-axis with RTCP function only needs to establish a coordinate system, and only needs to set the coordinates of the tool once. The false five-axis is a lot of trouble.
The CNC system with RTCP function can use the tool tip programming directly, without considering the isolation of the axis of rotation. After using the RTCP mode, programming 5-coordinate processing can be orthogonal to the tool tip rather than the core of rotating the spindle head, so programming will become much simpler and more efficient.
For the fake five-axis CNC machining center with double turntables, it is necessary to establish multiple coordinates to achieve the means of indexing processing. However, if it is a swinging five-axis, the indexing processing is not completed. Because of the swinging five-axis, during the downward processing time, there is no independent Z unblocking, but Z and X or Y all unblocking. At this time, with the fake five-axis, programming will be particularly troublesome, and debugging will become more and more difficult. At this time, the G51 offset function of three-axis cannot be used.
